Our Story

Built slowly, for people who travel slowly

Ridhima Retreat began as a family's forty acres of teak on the Jabalpur–Bhopal road. It is now central India's most considered resort — and still, in every way that matters, a home.

A philosophy of restraint

We built low so the forest would stay taller than the architecture. We kept the existing trees and routed the pathways around them. The stone is local, the timber is reclaimed, and the water is harvested and returned.

Service here is deliberately unhurried. There is no scripted greeting, no rush to turn a table. Our team is drawn largely from the villages around Tendukheda and trained to the standards of the country's finest houses.

Our organic farm supplies all three kitchens each morning. What we cannot grow, we source within the district. It is a small discipline that shows up on every plate.

Guest Voices

In their words

The most accomplished resort we have stayed at in Madhya Pradesh. The villa, the service, the silence at night — faultless from arrival to farewell.

We hosted three hundred guests across four days. The lawns, the banquet hall and the catering were handled with a precision I did not expect outside a metro.
Vikram Saxena · Delhi
The Ayurvedic therapies alone are worth the drive from Jabalpur. I left lighter than I have felt in years.

Our children barely left the adventure zone and the pool. We barely left the poolside bar. A rare resort that gets every generation right.
